Welcome to my website! I am attorney-mediator Charles M. Barnard. My firm is a general civil practice in Wichita Falls, Texas. I have served the greater Wichita Falls area and North Texas since 1979, handling alternative dispute resolution, business & commercial law, construction law, health & healthcare law, insurance law, medical malpractice, nursing home law, personal injury, products liability, toxic torts, and transportation law.
I represent clients in every level of the Texas state court system, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
I was born and raised in Wichita Falls and have practiced law in the area since 1979. I am an experienced trial attorney, and I am certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law. I am a graduate of the International Association of Defense Counsel School for Trial Counsel.
I am also an experienced attorney-mediator facilitating prompt and fair resolutions for attorney-represented or court-ordered mediation. I was trained for mediation through the American Academy of Attorney-Mediators, Inc., and I am a member of the Association for Attorney-Mediators.
My practice is built on my experience, knowledge of the law, and the personal attention I provide to all my clients. I listen to and communicate with my clients in order to provide them with the best legal representation possible. I am fair and honest with my clients and provide them with a realistic look of their case based on the evidence and case law. I take the time to explain the legal process and provide a realistic timeframe for the resolution of their case.
I use the latest technology and cost-effective methods to provide my clients with services in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
I am also active in the community and with local and state bar associations. I am a past president of the Wichita Falls Country Club and a past president of the Wichita Falls High School Football Booster Club. I am a member of the Wichita Falls Bar Association and have served as a past president and member of the board of directors. I am also a member of the State Bar of Texas and a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
